About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daily Living Support Assistant to join our team and support a young man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in his home in Petersfield, Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
  • Accompany the client on outings and provide social support
  • Assist with health care tasks, such as administering medication and monitoring vital signs
  • Drive the client's adapted vehicle to transport him to appointments and activities
Requirements
  • A full clean UK driving licence
  • Confident in your driving ability
  • Physically fit, calm, patient, and caring
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work independently
  • Willing to attend medical appointments as required
  • Good sense of humour and mature attitude
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English
  • Non-smoker
