Job Overview: Our company, Interaction - Northampton, is seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance.
  • Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption.
  • Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team, to identify and understand causes of equipment wear and underperformance.
  • In-depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery.

Requirements:
  • Electrical and Mechanical Competencies.
  • Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) – Advantageous.
  • Electrical bias – Advantageous.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced production environment for a minimum of 2 years – Essential.
