Carrington West is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Geotechnical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing geotechnical solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop geotechnical solutions for piling projects in the UK
  • Work as part of our design and estimating team to provide technical design input and best practice
  • Produce detailed drawings, calculations, and estimates using CADS and AutoCAD
  • Gain ongoing experience to assess the feasibility of piling projects
  • Collaborate with the design and estimating team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering Degree or similar aligned qualification
  • Geotechnical and/or Structural Engineering qualification would be considered
  • Full driving licence/ability to meet travel requirements of the role
  • Experience of Steel (structural) design, used for framing/ propping of steel sheet pile structures would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite of packages
