Job Title: Personal Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional care to an individual with complex needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide personal care assistance, including PEG, suctioning, and using medical equipment such as oxygen concentrator, nebuliser, suction machines, PEG, and BiPAP machine.
  • Engage in conversations and debates with our client, ensuring a stimulating and enjoyable environment.
  • Accompany our client on outings and to attend social activities, such as bowling and concerts.
  • Be available during the day for any assistance our client may require, while also respecting their independence and privacy.

Requirements:

  • Experience in providing personal care and using medical equipment is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
  • Clear spoken English is essential with strong communication skills and the ability to engage in meaningful conversations.
  • Empathy, patience, kindness, and understanding of individual needs.
  • Ability to adapt to varying situations and provide assistance as needed.
