We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our Ultrasound department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including Obstetrics, Gynaecology, General Abdominal, MSK, and Vascular
- Work independently to prioritize patients and organize workload from various referral pathways
- Communicate complex information regarding diagnosis/treatment directly with clinicians and patients
- Train, supervise, and assess Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Apprentices, and Clinicians in the specialist field of Ultrasound
- Contribute to the development of a learning environment within the Department by maintaining an up-to-date professional knowledge through CPD
- Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent qualification in Medical Ultrasound
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work extended days and weekends to promote a 7-day working ultrasound service
