Job Title: Secondary Teacher Position in Canterbury
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Science Teacher to join our team at Academics Ltd. Based in Canterbury, this role offers the opportunity to work with students of all abilities and contribute to the development of the science curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons
- Plan and prepare lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and resources
- Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements:
- Experience teaching the Science National Curriculum in England
- Eligible to work in the UK
- A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree in science
- A strong passion for teaching and inspiring students
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of £31,650 to £49,084, depending on experience. The school also considers part-time applications. We offer a benefits package that includes PAYE, pension, and free parking.
