Job Summary:

Maxim Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide administrative and legal support to a team of Solicitors in a prestigious company based in Newbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document production support, including preparation and editing of legal documents
  • Setting up meetings and appointments, ensuring efficient use of time
  • Processing expenses and managing financial transactions
  • Billing and accounts management, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing
  • Sending information and correspondence to clients, maintaining excellent communication
  • Managing reports and dealing with billing queries, resolving issues promptly
  • Diary management, booking travel and organizing events, ensuring seamless coordination
  • Client care, liaising with clients via email and telephone, assisting with inquiries and taking detailed messages
  • Producing letters, legal documents, and emails utilizing MS Office on a daily basis

Requirements:

  • Experience in a legal support role, preferably in a law firm or similar environment
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with clients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with ability to learn and adapt to new software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively

Benefits:

The salary for this role is dependent on experience, however, we envisage this to be in the region of £25,000 - £28,000. There is also a very lucrative benefits package available with the role.
