Job Summary:

Tpfrecruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and growing firm of accountants in Kent. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing a range of financial services including accounts, tax, and audit work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review annual accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and building trust with clients.
  • Conduct meetings with clients to discuss financial performance and provide guidance on financial planning.
  • Prepare and submit company CT600 returns, partnership returns, and individual self-assessment tax returns.
  • Oversee the preparation of VAT returns and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and training to help them develop their skills.
  • Opportunity to participate in audit work, depending on interest and experience.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Strong practice experience in financial services.
  • Proficiency in CCH, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
  • Portfolio management experience or experience dealing with clients.
