About the Role

At Amazon UK, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth. As a Strategic HR Data Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in accelerating our HR automation efforts, leveraging evidence-based decision making, and driving efficiencies of scale.

We're seeking an experienced professional to drive HR optimisation and widespread adoption of self-service people analytics tools among HR and business leadership teams. You'll work closely with senior HR leaders, including HR Directors, to help business leaders make informed people decisions at scale.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for communicating people performance data via analytics, dashboards, and business intelligence (BI) platforms. They will also make ad-hoc recommendations to senior HR and their business Directors and VPs, using data analysis of PXT metrics to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse large data sets to provide detailed, robust reporting that supports our global corporate and operational business lines.
  • Access, analyse, and interpret HR data to spot trends and understand business impacts.
  • Presentation of insights to senior international HR leaders, including HR Directors.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with extensive experience in Excel, including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc., as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau. Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights is essential. Additionally, you should have experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders, along with expertise in SQL and data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.

Bonus qualifications include experience in business or financial analysis, using AWS (S3, Redshift), and basic Python.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum based on location and experience. This is a competitive salary range reflective of industry standards.
