Senior Data Quality Manager

This role is responsible for leading the Quality Management function at the Chippenham Factory for Manufacturing. While also leading the team to ensure quality culture and strategy is implemented, delivering professional development and effective resourcing. You will support the factory leadership team and champion the reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and Continuous Improvement to world-class standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategy & Execution: Aligning local department strategy with factory and RI Quality strategy, develop action plans, and ensure forward planning.
- Quality Innovation: Implementing AI, Siemens Common Data Environment, Automated Visual Inspection) in Quality processes.
- Leadership & Engagement: Overseeing all QM activities on-site, attend events and meetings, and ensure efficient QC processes and internal audits.
- Quality Investigation & COPQ: Driving problem-solving, root cause analysis, and a zero-defect culture. Report and control Non-Conforming Costs (NCCs) and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Team Competence & NPD: Tracking and enhance team competence, promote learning, and ensure inputs to Quality gates in new product design or change management processes.
- BMS/QMS & Performance: Maintaining BMS systems, ensure relevant documentation, and provide management information on quality performance using data analytics.
- Customer/Supplier Relationships: Managing customer complaints, lead quality escalations, and execute supplier audit plans in collaboration with Procurement.
- Financial & Safety Management: Managing budgets, planning CAPEX, ensuring team efficiency, promoting safety and sustainability, and driving high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
- Quality Management Team experience in businesses assembling complex mechanical and electrical products.
- Good working knowledge of the SAP platform or similar.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and experience leading and delivering tangible Continuous Improvement, Cost of Quality reduction in a manufacturing environment.
- Project Management and change management experience.
- Excellent IT skills (specifically MS Office).
