Technical Design Lead

Are you looking for a challenging role that will help you grow as a design professional?

You will be joining ARV Solutions Contracts, a major timber frame manufacturer, at an exciting time of expansion. We have invested in new manufacturing equipment and are looking for a skilled Technical Design Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs and deliver high-quality designs.
  2. Coordinate and adjust CAD design work to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
  3. Resolve technical issues related to timber frame construction, ensuring compliance with building regulations.
  4. Manage project drawings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  5. Review designs to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and technical drawing software (HSBCad is a plus).
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  3. Experience with timber frame, joist, roof cassette, or truss design is highly desirable.
