About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to deliver assigned construction and engineering projects successfully at site level while conforming to time, scope, and quality requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for closing out snagging items on site and ensuring the Project is completed and delivered to a high standard.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at all times.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing professional and courteous service.
  3. Prepare and submit accurate RAMS for works, ensuring timely submission.
  4. Collaborate with the Project Engineering Manager and sites to prioritize and coordinate works efficiently.
  5. Plan and execute assigned works in a safe and professional manner.
  6. Assist the Projects Health & Safety Team in mobilization and demobilization of construction sites.
  7. Work with the Project Engineering Team to resolve snags and complete assigned tasks.
  8. Provide photographic evidence of completed works using provided IT equipment and mobile apps.
  9. Write detailed reports and updates for the Project Engineering Manager and Site Management Lead.
  10. Liaise with Purchasing to procure necessary tools and consumables in good time.
  11. Participate in occasional out-of-hours working, such as night-time surveys for lighting / noise tests.
  12. Identify and implement cost-effective solutions, addressing technical difficulties and other issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
  1. Relevant experience within a construction or engineering discipline.
  2. Good understanding of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental issues.
  3. CSCS card holder in relevant disciplines.
  4. SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
  5. Competency in multiple construction disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, joinery, painting, and general handywork.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project, as well as Teams, VPN, video conferencing, and mobile platforms.
