We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team at Burns Sheehan. As a key member of our backend software engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data centric applications using Python.

This is a greenfield project where you will contribute to:

  • Designing and implementing backend systems in Python
  • Sharing knowledge and work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders through demos
  • Contributing to the development of internal APIs
  • Connecting data sources to our data platform so that it can easily be consumed by our customer apps
  • Automating tasks and aiding other teams

The ideal candidate will have experience building data centric backend systems in Python within a startup or scale up environment. You will also have a strong knowledge of SQL and ideally DBT and Snowflake, as well as experience working with AWS and Terraform.

Requirements:

  • Experience building data centric backend systems in Python within a startup or scale up environment
