Job Description

The Hill Group UK is seeking a highly skilled and organized Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Buying Team, you will be responsible for purchasing all materials and plant used in the course of the business.

You will work closely with the Site Team to ensure timely delivery of materials and plant, and provide administrative support to the Buying Team on larger projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring receipt of information and requisitions against agreed Material Buying Schedule
  • Assisting buyers in the issue of enquiries, analyzing and producing orders to meet delivery requirements
  • Supporting the establishment of performance-led, long-term supplier relationships focusing on value for money, service, and product quality
  • Carrying out clerical and administrative routines effectively, managing multiple small to medium-sized projects

In addition, you will:

  • Ensure any supplier/material issues are relayed to the project teams
  • Utilize financial information on projects, materials resources schedules, and preliminary costs to provide the best financial benefit to the company
  • Support the sourcing of alternative products/services to provide a better solution

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
