Senior Business Data Analyst

Cornwallis Elt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Data Analyst to join their strategic data programme on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will drive the development of the enterprise data management platform to enhance functionality, increase adoption, and improve the operating model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with business stakeholders and technology delivery teams to gather data requirements and support the design of a data solution.
  • Produce data mapping specifications and support the implementation or optimisation of data governance frameworks.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the components of investment data, including transactions, positions, and instruments.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively and deliver them on time to a high standard.
  • Liaise between business and technical teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a Business Data Analyst position.
  • Strong ability to produce data mapping specifications.
  • Previously supported the implementation or optimisation of data governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of the components of investment data.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
