We are seeking a dedicated Faith and Education Specialist to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust in West London. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.

About the Role:
  • Design and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum requirements.
  • Cultivate a respectful and thought-provoking learning environment that encourages discussions about faith, philosophy, and ethics.
  • Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of major world religions and their historical significance.
  • Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level as applicable).
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Religious Studies department and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Studies or a closely related subject.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of religious beliefs and a passion for fostering interfaith dialogue.
  • Excels in communication and interpersonal skills and classroom management within a single-sex learning environment.
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
  • Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.

**Benefits Package:** The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary (£40,000 - £60,000 per annum) and benefits package, including opportunities for continuous professional development to stay at the forefront of Religious Studies education.
