About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock and Inventory Manager to join our team at ERIKS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory control data, optimizing customer and ERIKS stock profiles, and ensuring timely loading of sales and purchase orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputize for the Site Manager in their absence and provide leadership and guidance to the team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely loading of sales orders, achieving acceptable margin levels, and meeting customer delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to load purchase orders onto the system, utilizing established preferred sources of supply where possible.
- Research and identify alternative supply options when preferred suppliers are not available or cannot meet required timescales.
- Provide regular reports and key performance indicators to management and customers, contributing to effective planning, budgeting, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with ERIKS and customer health and safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
- Manage and develop a team of reporting staff, setting clear objectives and expectations, and ensuring they deliver high standards of performance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of inventory management principles, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
