Job Description

Treasury Operations Specialist

Tangent International is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Global Treasury Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our company's treasury and insurance programs, driving efficiencies, and improving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Flow Management: Prepare and analyze cash flow reports, including weekly cash flow analysis, to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Month-End Closing Process: Participate in the month-end closing process, including analytical schedules and audit requests, to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Global Cash Funding and Repatriation: Support global cash funding and repatriation processes for international subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Banking Projects: Manage banking projects, including the opening and closure of bank accounts, working closely with external banking partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Banking Relationship Management: Work with banking partners to provide required legal forms for account signers and board resolutions, and complete KYC (Know Your Customer) due diligence to ensure compliance.
  • Banking Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve banking-related issues to support internal teams, vendors, and customers, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Online Banking Portal Management: Administer online banking portals and manage user entitlements to ensure secure and efficient access to banking services.
  • Daily Cash Reporting: Prepare and analyze daily cash reports for management, providing timely and accurate financial information.
  • FX Spot Trade Transactions: Support FX spot trade transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Treasury Automation and Process Improvement: Identify and implement treasury automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or General Business.
  • Certifications: MBA and/or CTP certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate treasury, cash management, banking, or financial analysis.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with major online banking platforms, advanced knowledge of international banking processes, regulations, and laws, strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working in a global environment, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP Business Object/Microsoft BI, experience with Oracle/SAP ERP systems is a plus.

Location: This position can be based in either Reading, UK or Richardson, USA. The role offers a hybrid working model, with the expectation of some in-office presence.
