**Our Team**

Our Product Control Team reports key financial data including profit and loss, balance sheet and price verification. The Price Verification team, itself part of Product Control, provides valuation oversight for both securities and derivatives, reviewing derivative inputs and fair value disclosures, and assisting with management and regulatory reporting relating to valuations.

**Your Role**

As a Product Controller, you will become an expert in your business and assess valuation, profit and loss attribution, and disclosure implications of the business' positions and trades. You will be responsible for assisting in the price verification of positions held in portfolios, including interest rate swaps, inflation linked interest rate products, credit default swaps, total return swaps on emerging market debt, securities, and derivatives.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assist in the price verification of positions held in portfolios, including interest rate swaps, inflation linked interest rate products, credit default swaps, total return swaps on emerging market debt, securities, and derivatives.
  • Prepare monthly IPV reports summarising results across trading desks and entities to provide key valuation metrics to senior Business and Controllers management and regulators.
  • Governance and oversight of the Prudent Valuation returns for UK and EU entities.
  • Prepare IFRS Financial Instruments disclosures.
  • Review of Valuation Adjustments to ensure complete and accurate reporting to management and regulators.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of the valuation and price verification framework for newly traded securities and derivatives; in conjunction with key federation stakeholders (IT, Operations, Legal, Compliance, etc.).

**Requirements**

  • Qualified CA/CFA/CMA.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Numerate background or experience in dealing with more complex financial topics.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, tools and utilities for business use.
  • Candidate must be proactive, enthusiastic and team oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
