We are seeking a skilled Physiologist to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare. As a Physiologist, you will be responsible for performing and providing high-quality accurate near patient diagnostics for Lung Function and Sleep service.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform standard lung function testing, including dynamic lung volumes by spirometry, field exercise testing, and skin allergy testing.
- Develop and perform procedures such as analysis of respiratory polygraphy, CPAP initiation, education, home monitoring, and maintenance of equipment.
- Participate in rota for conducting patient 'hook-ups' for nocturnal full polysomnography studies.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in respiratory physiology and sleep medicine.
You will be working closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including consultants, nurses, and other technicians, to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:- BSc Healthcare Science or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of respiratory physiology.
- CPD by attendance at internal and external lectures, seminars, and courses.
