Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in West London. As a key member of our crisis team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to adults.
Responsibilities:
- Provide interventions, advice, and support to service users over the phone and conduct face-to-face crisis assessments in various settings.
- Ensure service users receive the most suitable care and treatment following triage and assessment, referring them to the appropriate mental health provision or signposting to relevant services.
- Deliver gatekeeping services for admission to inpatient mental health units and offer in-reach work in wards to facilitate discharges.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate programs of care for clients in crisis with acute mental health problems in the community, coordinating activities with other professionals and agencies.
- Provide advice, support, and information to service users, carers, GPs, and other professionals requesting information regarding a crisis situation.
Requirements:
- Current and valid registration with the NMC.
- Proven experience within a crisis team or psych liaison experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
