Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our Estates team. This role will be based at our Main Hospital site in Central London (W1G 6BW) and involves working on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment, including heat generation, low pressure systems, heating systems, hot and cold water services, drainage, air-conditioning etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out technical fault finding, diagnosis and repair on complex mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Undertake maintenance, repairs, minor improvement and capital work across the Clinic as directed.
  • Work in accordance with the requirements of the mechanical HTMs for water systems, statutory regulations, legionella regulations and Clinic policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience within a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of FSI Concept would be advantageous.
