At WCS Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of water treatment equipment, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and maintain water treatment equipment, including electro-mechanical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including chemical sanitization, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and provide technical support.
- Collaborate with the projects team and BDMs to effectively plan and execute visits.
- Deliver and install new equipment and water treatment systems, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Test and commission all work prior to leaving the site, ensuring that equipment is functioning correctly.
- Explain and demonstrate correct use of equipment to customers, as needed.
- Ensure customer sign-off of work prior to leaving the site, confirming satisfaction with services provided.
- Report activity on the Service Manager tablet, providing detailed and accurate records of work completed.
- Promote service contracts to customers, identifying new opportunities and reporting back to the line manager.
- Maintain spare parts van stock and up-to-date records of parts held and used.
- Ensure all tools are in good condition, and correct tools and parts are used when required.
- Clearly identify and communicate any assumptions, customer or other responsibilities, and exclusions outside the scope of service prior to work commencing.
- Hold a full UK driving license and be able to travel and stay overnight as required, including occasional weekend working.
- Previous experience in the water treatment industry, along with servicing or installation experience.
- 1 year of relevant equipment service work experience in an electro-mechanical environment, ideally in the water treatment sector.
- Ability to handle stressful situations, often working alone on customer sites.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Logical and well-organized, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to carry out mechanical and electrical installation of water treatment plant.
