We are seeking a highly skilled Next-Generation Nuclear Energy Specialist to join our team at Thomas Thor in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation nuclear power technology with a global leader.

About the Company

Thomas Thor is a global leader in designing an unconditionally safe and secure source of clean energy. We have received funding from the FNEF to advance our SMR programme, and we are building our brand new team based in Bristol.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the design of spent fuel pool shielding analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that the plant design complies with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in an engineering or science related discipline.
  • Experience with computer languages such as Python.

What We Offer

The salary for this position is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous pension scheme and life insurance.
