Job Title: Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager

Vertus Partners is seeking an experienced Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a GRC function in a growing organization that values risk management and IT security.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the security compliance and governance activities of the organization. This includes providing strong leadership to develop, implement, and maintain a security governance, risk, and compliance program in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards that support risk mitigation and compliance efforts.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across the organization.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compliance initiatives and embed security practices across the organization.
Requirements:
  • CISA, CRISC, or CISSP certification.
  • Strong understanding of security governance, risk, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and COBIT.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
