About the Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse consultant to lead our Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) service at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and managerial supervision to a team of specialist nurses, as well as undertaking clinical responsibilities with ICC patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To act as an effective role model for best practice nursing in the field of ICC, acting as a specialist in the field and giving clinical advice as necessary and providing leadership for the team.
  • To agree and develop local policies and protocols, including those regarding nurse-led admission and discharge to the service, to ensure the continuous delivery of a high-quality and equitable access to the service.

The post holder will develop new areas of practice with nursing and consultant staff to ensure quality standards are met.

The salary for this role is £61,927 - £68,676 per annum, including HCA.
