Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Nursing Associate to join the Wycombe Adult Community Healthcare Team.

The successful candidate will be part of a friendly and proactive community team, working in collaboration to provide high-quality nursing care in the community.

We offer a preceptorship program for newly qualified nursing associates, an extensive orientation program, with the support of advanced community practitioners and the practice development team.

Training and support will be provided to achieve your competencies.

Main Duties of the Job

The role will involve supporting community nurses in a wide range of nursing activities, including admission prevention, facilitating discharges from hospital, and end-of-life care.

Responsibilities will include holistic patient assessment, medication administration, wound and pressure area care, and catheter management.

Person Specification
  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
  • Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification
  • GCSE Grade A-C/Level 4-9 in Maths & English or skills functional level 2 Maths & English or equivalent

Desirable criteria include experience in the community and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and carers.
