Tanker Mechanic Required

We are seeking a skilled Tanker Mechanic to join our team at Optima Site Solutions Ltd in Morley, UK.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of tankers, primarily vacuum waste tankers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on vacuum waste tankers and possess excellent welding skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend breakdowns as and when required
  • Carry out detailed tanker inspections
  • Tanker maintenance and repair work
  • Ensure all compliance details are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Workshop based role, sometimes working in teams
  • Occasionally service van repairs using a kitted out service van to attend the required locations
  • Ensure adherence to the company's health & safety regulations
  • Conduct oneself in a consistent manner that always demonstrates the company's values and behaviors
