**About the Role**

Our client, a reputable company in the industry, is seeking a skilled HGV / Plant Fitter to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle maintenance, including servicing, inspections, defect repairs, MOT preparations, and breakdowns, as well as any other work requested by the Manager.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HGVs and plant equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify and repair defects, and perform MOT preparations as required.
  • Carry out breakdown repairs and other tasks as assigned by the Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve maintenance goals and deadlines.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience as an HGV / Plant Fitter or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
