We are seeking a skilled and motivated podiatrist to join our clients centre in Falmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly experienced candidate looking to kickstart their career or for an experienced podiatrist looking for a new challenge.

About the Role

As a podiatrist at our clients centre, you will be responsible for providing high-quality podiatry assessments, treatments, and care to patients. You will devise treatment plans and manage successful outcomes for patients, providing diagnosis and treatments using your knowledge and skills to maximise benefits for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing podiatry assessments, treatments, and care to patients
  • Devising treatment plans and managing successful outcomes for patients
  • Providing diagnosis and treatments using knowledge and skills to maximise benefits for patients
  • Providing advice to assistants and other clinical staff as well as patients and carers
  • Actively participating in reviewing, modernising, and developing policies, procedures, and protocols in the clinic
  • Ensuring the effective communication of complex, sensitive, and emotional information to patients and carers
  • Attending and participating in podiatry service staff meetings
  • Offering exceptional levels of customer service to all who experience the clinic services including patients, carers, and external healthcare professionals
  • Developing networks and assisting in the development of future business and revenue streams
  • All associated administrative tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a HCPC-registered podiatrist with a minimum of one year's experience. You will also need to have excellent clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of foot and ankle conditions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build rapport with patients. A commitment to patient-centred care and providing excellent customer service is also required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are also necessary.

It would be highly desirable if you are a Member of the Royal College of Podiatry and/or have the NMP qualification.
