Exciting Opportunity for Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) - Band 7

MedicsPro is seeking experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENPs) - Band 7 with recent NHS experience, who are looking for flexible extra shifts or full-time agency work in and around the London Area.

We have opportunities for various shift types, including long days, nights, early shifts, late shifts, and twilight shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient assessment, including pain assessment and management
  • Diagnosing problems such as sprains, strains, cuts, and bites, giving medication (orally or via injection), and treating minor injuries including burns and wounds
  • Reading and assessing X-rays
  • Administering some medications, including antibiotics
  • Recording ECG examinations
  • Discharging patients when appropriate

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Current registration with the NMC
  • ILS
  • Full EPP Clearance
  • 2 clinical references to provide your ENP skills to cover the last 3 years of work history

Preferable Experience:

Minimum 6 months UK experience within the last year, working in an ENP role.

Qualifications:

Completed adult nursing degree

Evidence of completion of V300 prescribing certificate
