We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a Senior Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber, you will play a key role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with substance misuse issues.
- Deliver a range of treatment options, including clinical and psychosocial interventions, to support patients in their recovery journey.
- Monitor patients' responses to medication and potential side effects, and provide guidance to prescribers and other healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Adult Nurse) with current professional qualification (NMC).
- Prescribing qualification in Substance Misuse (SMS).
- RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake.
- Experience of working with opiate-dependent patients and sound clinical substance misuse knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
