We're growing our team and are looking for a Senior Python Software Engineer to join us. You will be responsible for building and maintaining command-line tools, API servers, and Python SDKs that enable the creation of decentralised risk markets and a new market structure for DeFi on the Autonity blockchain.

Estimated Salary: £120,000 per annum

Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining command-line tools, API servers, and Python SDKs for end-users.
  • Developing apps, libraries, frameworks, and services that enable decentralised risk markets and a new market structure for DeFi.
  • Collaborating with trading and blockchain communities to build this new infrastructure.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years professional experience in software development.
  2. 2+ years professional experience in Python software development.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  4. Strong Python skills with experience in network and concurrent programming.
  5. An understanding of Ethereum protocols and proof of stake consensus.
  6. Experience developing REST APIs, backend services, and automated pipelines.
  7. Proficiency with SQL databases, GraphQL sources, and time series data.
  8. Good knowledge of Unix shell scripting and command-line tools.
  9. Familiarity with CEX/DEX trade lifecycle and common DeFi protocols.
  10. Excellent attention to detail and appreciation for software correctness.
