Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Appoint Healthcare, a leading provider of health and social care services for adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional person-centered care to males and females (18 and above) in our acute inpatient service.
  • Ensure patients receive high-quality care, adhering to the Mental Health Act and other relevant regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify needs, and develop strategies to promote patient well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification (Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse) (RMN or RNLD).
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • A minimum of 1 year of mental health/acute/forensic/low-high secure/learning disability/NHS or private experience.
  • Strong team-working skills.
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach.
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate.
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice.
