School Premises Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a reliable and efficient School Premises Maintenance Officer to join our Site Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our school premises, supporting the Premises Manager to keep the school safe and engaging environment for students to learn.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining school premises, including carrying out reactive and planned maintenance tasks
- Acting as a key holder, securing school buildings, and setting alarm systems
- Driving school minibus for maintenance or site matters
- Identifying and addressing potential fire and health and safety risks
- Undertaking routine maintenance and minor refurbishment of premises, fixtures, and fittings
- Providing general porterage around the site
The ideal candidate will have previous experience and DIY skills, knowledge of Health & Safety and hygiene procedures, good communication skills, and basic IT skills.
Benefits:- Possible salary range: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
- Flexible working hours, with possibility of covering other members of the Site Team
