Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Engineering Stores Administrator at our Southall site in West London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the ordering, receiving, issuing, and disposal of stores stock are carried out in accordance with procedures at all times.
  • Process all new stock take-on and allocate bins for new stock items.
  • Maintain minimum and maximum stock thresholds and initiate ordering of replacement stock when minimum stock levels are reached.
  • Organize inventory to facilitate accessibility and safety for the store, maintaining standards using the 5S system.
  • Plan and manage regular stock takes to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals.
  • Provide a weekly report on all stock outs and control the cost of stores inventory.
  • Raise orders for the engineering team and source non-stock items required.
  • Ensure accounts with key suppliers are up to date and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Manage critical spares, track and report on spend, and ensure it meets budgetary requirements.
  • Assist with sourcing alternate specification items and respond to PPE requests from other departments.
  • Track and report on KPI metrics as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an administration or stock control role within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and SAP experience.
  • Knowledge of using an EMS.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
