Animal Friends is a leading provider of pet insurance solutions, seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing industry, providing expert legal advice and support.

£80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lawyer to provide comprehensive legal advice and assistance across all areas of the business. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• Provide regulatory and commercial legal advice to the Group in an insurance context.
• Assist with legal claims brought by/against any Group company.
• Participate in departmental Regulatory Watch to ensure the Group complies with all relevant legal and regulatory developments.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified solicitor in a commercial law environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial services regulation and insurance law.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The post holder will be expected to undertake minimum CPD requirement as required by the Law Society. Compulsory training modules and other ad-hoc training will also be provided as identified in performance reviews and goal setting.
