Job Title: Scenic Procurement Specialist

Overview:

The Scenic Procurement Specialist is responsible for procuring and coordinating scenic elements for themed location-based entertainment projects.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

This role requires a strong background in procurement, with expertise in managing suppliers for scenic elements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the themed entertainment industry and knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies for scenic materials, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers of scenic elements, ensuring they meet project requirements.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on scenic elements to ensure design specifications and safety standards are met.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and project management teams to align supplier deliverables with project timelines and objectives.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of scenic materials, track inventory levels, and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment as needed.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as necessary.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of procurement processes, supplier agreements, and quality control measures.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably within the themed entertainment industry.
  • Specialisation: Proven expertise in managing suppliers for scenic elements, including knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and industry standards.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
