Job Title: Senior Practitioner - Kinship FosteringAbout the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Practitioner to join our Kinship Fostering Team on a temporary basis for 6 months. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working closely with children and families to provide high-quality support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work closely with children and their foster carers to identify and address their needs, promote resilience, and enhance outcomes.
  • To conduct assessments and develop plans that meet the needs of children and their families, ensuring effective case management and risk assessment.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with children and their families, in line with council policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Social Work Qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Medical Clearance - Pre-placement health assessment (PPHA).
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
  • Driving Licence – A full clean driving licence is required as you will be driving a vehicle adhering to council regulations.
  • Essential Car Documentation- You must hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
