Job Summary: A dedicated History Teacher is needed for a long-term position at a secondary school in Oldham, delivering engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.

Salary: £200 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive History lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.
  2. Inspire students to explore historical contexts and develop analytical skills through effective teaching methods.
  3. Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure academic success.
  4. Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they achieve their academic potential.
  5. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching History at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a UK secondary school.
  • Strong subject knowledge with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
