We are seeking a skilled Divan Upholsterer to join our team at Harrison Spinks. As a Divan Upholsterer, you will be responsible for upholstering divan bases to exact quality specifications and ensuring compliance with our high standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare work to be upholstered, including frame and tick checking against production tickets.
  • Position and competently attach tick using compressed air tools.
  • Visually check finished items to ensure 100% accuracy and right first time.
  • Ensure tasks are completed within set timescales, maintaining quality.
  • Discuss complications or assembly line slow downs with Team Leader and come up with solutions for increased productivity.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Monitor and record scrap/Yield.
  • Meet the required output demand.
  • Assist other operatives with lifting when required.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Divan upholstery or upholstery.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • The ability to stand, walk, and move for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Team player.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Dexterity.
