Salary Information

Job Summary
This role involves working as a key member of the pharmacy department at Springfield Hospital, supporting the pharmacy manager in delivering high-quality clinical outcomes and patient care. Your responsibilities will include ordering and stock control of medicines, preparation of drugs, and providing advice to patients and clinical staff within your scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the pharmacist in maintaining accurate Inpatient Prescription Record Charts
- Carry out daily medicines reconciliation, as needed
- Offer straightforward advice to patients/carers and clinical staff on pharmaceutical products
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GPhC standards of conduct, ethics, and performance

Requirements
- NVQ3 or equivalent qualification in Pharmaceutical Science
- Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- At least 4 GCSEs (A-C), including English maths and science or equivalent qualifications
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Contract Details
A bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK offers flexible employment with no set number of hours per week. You will work on an ad-hoc basis, filling in shifts that we have available in our hospitals.
