About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Ascent Flight Training. As a key member of our Capability Delivery Team, you will be responsible for delivering commercial solutions across various projects and negotiating multiple deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supply chain relationships with key subcontractors and maintain formal contractual interfaces with our customers.
  • Work closely with our customers and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of changes, meeting operational requirements and staying within budgeted costs.
  • Provide commercial and legal expertise to the business, protecting Ascent's interests at all times.
  • Ensure commercial data is accurately communicated to key stakeholders, keeping the Senior Leadership Team and Ascent Board informed for strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial and/or contract management, with a solid foundation in key contractual deliverables.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations.
  • Experience in contract delivery and management, preferably in a commercial organization or public sector.
  • Courage and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
