Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic 7.5T Driver to join our team at Pertemps Reading for short-term cover. As a 7.5T Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering and collecting parcels to customers, with a high volume of daily deliveries (60+ per day)
  • Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Performing thorough vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
  • Being responsible for the vehicle and its contents, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Working well under pressure and meeting deadlines, demonstrating a strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changing circumstances

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in multidrop delivery roles
  • A full UK Driving Licence, with a clean licence or no more than 6 points
  • Good geographical knowledge and ability to navigate efficiently
  • 7.5T entitlement and Digi Tacho CPC certification
  • An enthusiastic and reliable work ethic, with a strong ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
