Production Operative / Relief Spiral Operative

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operative / Relief Spiral Operative to join our team in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely set up, monitor, and maintain sheet metal working machinery and equipment to achieve production targets and maintain product quality.
  • Produce spirally wound tube of the highest quality using the onsite Spiral Forming machine.
  • Maintain stock levels, perform regular cleaning, and report any issues or technical information.
  • Count and record all spiral tubes and raw materials for snapshot, month-end, and ad-hoc stock counts.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a production sheet metal environment with the ability to operate and control equipment.
  • Knowledge of Spiral Forming machines, with training provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong health and safety awareness, ensuring safety guards are in place at all times and compliance with health and safety requirements.
