Senior Forensic Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Forensic Psychologist to join our team at HMP Doncaster. As a Senior Forensic Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering psychological services to our prisoners, many of whom have complex needs and offending histories.
Key Responsibilities:- Line management and supervision of Forensic Psychologists and Forensic Psychologists in Training
- Direct psychological contact with prisoners, including assessments, formulations, and treatment
- Act as a professional witness in parole board hearings and other formal settings
- Provide consultancy, support, and guidance to other professionals
- Deliver training on issues such as personality disorder, psychopathy, and managing difficult behavior
- Chartered status with the British Psychological Society and Registered as a Forensic Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Experience and ability to make good clinical formulations of offenders with complex needs
- Comfortable completing parole reports and carrying out assessments such as WAIS IV, HCR-, PCL-R, IPDE, and SARA
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary way and bring a collaborative approach to your work with your team and with the offenders
- Highly skilled at report writing and presenting evidence in formal settings
