About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Langley, Berkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a passion for Geography and ensuring excellent progress and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
  2. Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and participate in departmental planning and activities.
  3. Participate in school events, parent evenings, and extracurricular activities as required.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Geography curriculum and best teaching practices.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. A degree in Geography or a related field.
  3. Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
  4. A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
  5. A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.
  6. A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of children.
