Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Brook Street. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the compliance affairs of a diverse portfolio of corporate and personal clients, while honing your technical skills by supporting the Business Tax Team on complex tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run tax work in accordance with the Firm's procedures and guidelines.
- Prepare corporate tax returns and address inquiries, assisting both staff and principals.
- Identify and consider tax planning issues to optimize client outcomes.
- Maintain records of corporation tax returns, ensuring all returns are filed on time and accurately.
- Manage a portfolio of clients under the supervision of the Corporate Tax Principal.
Requirements:
- CTA qualified (mandatory).
- Proven experience in practice, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of clients, handle compliance work, and identify tax planning opportunities.
- Understanding of the interaction with non-corporate taxes is an advantage.
- Excellent communicative skills and the ability to manage junior team members.
- UK based applicant with unrestricted right to work.
What We Offer:
- Salary negotiable on experience.
- Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme.
- Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to one week's salary.
- Private Medical Insurance after a 3-month probationary period (this is a taxable benefit).

- Group Income Protection Scheme (non-contributory) following a 3-month probationary period.
- 25 days of annual leave (pro rata), with 3 days typically taken at Christmas/New Year.
