The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in providing the best possible care and will be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

The role involves assisting nursing staff in providing high-quality individualised care, working as a key member of the team to support patients in achieving their planned outcomes, and building relationships with patients that are open and two-way.

As a Support Worker - Complex Care, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and caring environment. You will also have access to a wide range of e-learning and face-to-face training and development opportunities through our Active Learning Hub.

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Alternate working pattern 3 days one week and 4 days next week

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist nursing staff in providing high-quality individualised care
  • Work as a key member of the team to support patients in achieving their planned outcomes
  • Build relationships with patients that are open and two-way
  • Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme
  • Establish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessary
  • Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
  • Communicate any issues to the clinical team
  • Accurately report and/or record work activities
