About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Respiratory Consultant to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your clinical expertise and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist respiratory care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a range of conditions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes.

As a Respiratory Consultant, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and take on a key role in shaping the future of respiratory services within the trust. You will contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring that they are evidence-based and aligned with national standards.

Requirements
  • Eligibility to register with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Degree in medicine from a recognized institution
  • Completion of a relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of clinical services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
